We came in as a group of 8 and Steph took great care of us! Despite being out of some items, the food was cooked well and everyone enjoyed their meal. Not sure the hostess's name from Sunday evening around 8 pm but she was so friendly each time we passed by!
These were the best crab legs I had while at Kure beach!!! Try the bacon mac n cheese bites. They are surprisingly really good. All of the food was delicious and service was amazing. The chocolate cake with peanut butter whip was delicious also. I wish we had just went here every nite for dinner while on vacation.
DEAR BIG DADDY, Had The Greatest Time At Your Establishment!!!! Fried Oysters Were Amazing With Our Cocktail!!!! Bridget Was Amazing, Very Welcoming & Friendly Service!!!! Last but not least Your Ladies Room & Men's Room Was the Most Clean Bathrooms we have been in!! Smelled and Looked so Nice!!!! Was Very Comfortable to go in to!!!! We had an outstanding experience at Big Daddy’s in Carolina Beach, thanks to our server, Lawrence. From the moment we sat down, Lawrence impressed us with his professionalism and knowledge. He knew every special on the menu and was completely up to date on all the market prices—something you definitely appreciate when ordering seafood. Beyond just being knowledgeable, Lawrence was incredibly personable. He struck the perfect balance of friendly and attentive without ever being overbearing. He made us feel welcome, answered all of our questions with ease, and gave honest recommendations that turned out to be spot-on. Service was also fast and efficient. Our drinks were never empty, and everything came out exactly as ordered. You can tell Lawrence really takes pride in what he does, and it made our whole dining experience that much better. If you’re heading to Big Daddy’s, ask for Lawrence—you’ll be in great hands!
I went to Kure Beach a few weeks ago for a little vacation and I just happened to come across Big Daddy's. I'm truly glad that I did! I felt quite comfortable. The atmosphere is very welcoming. I cannot express this enough whenever I say that the service was spectacular, which means a lot! I had a conversation with a delightful employee named Maddi. She was very kind and assisted me with gaining clarity as to the food and the specials. My selection was the Bang Bang Shrimp and I was pleased! I highly recommend this restaurant and cannot wait to check it out the next time I'm in Kure Beach!
Waitress was amazing!! Very friendly, took time to explain how we could get the most for our money!! Food was beyond amazing!! Specially made garlic butter for our crab legs!!
My wife and I both enjoyed the fish and chips this evening. I had the fries with green beans, and my wife had roasted potatoes and onion rings. For the appetizer, we enjoyed the hushpuppies and we also ordered the smoked gouda bacon mac and cheese bites. The portions were just right, and everything we ate was excellent! We had great service from Jake who made our visit even better! Big Daddy's is a tradition that makes coming to Kure Beach that much more special!
Tried the smoked turkey and mac & cheese at Big Daddy’s Restaurant in Kure Beach, NC—absolutely amazing! The smoked turkey was tender and flavorful, and the mac & cheese? Hands down the best thing I’ve ever tasted. Creamy, cheesy, and perfectly comforting. I work here, so I get to see firsthand how much heart and hard work the team puts into everything. They’re truly incredible, and it shows in every bite. If you’re anywhere near Kure Beach, this place is a must. You’ll feel right at home.
